HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

This process is for candidates who are already working in Croatia and are changing employer. The whole process is free of charge for you.

Talk to your Meta Mate agent

Employment through referral. Your agent explains the whole process and the referral bonus, which goes from 1.500 € to 3.000 €.

Collect your documents

You prepare the documents from the list below. Your Meta Mate agent helps you with everything you are not sure about.

Application

You or your Meta Mate agent submits the application through this form, together with all the documents.

Review by the Meta Mate team

Our team checks and confirms your documents, asks for anything that is missing and keeps you informed about your status.

Contract

You receive the contract by email and sign it online. After that we submit the employer change application.

Transfer

The transfer takes about 7 working days. The whole process usually takes around 15 days.

DOCUMENTS YOU NEED TO PREPARE

✓Passport
✓Driving licence (mandatory for taxi drivers, and for delivery if you drive a motorbike or a car)
✓Croatian PCC (uvjerenje o nekažnjavanju), not older than 6 months
✓E-book (elektronička radna knjižica)
✓Current work permit
✓Current residence card (TRC)
✓Mobile number and email address
✓A new selfie photo taken at the moment of application

DOCUMENTS YOU HAVE TO REQUEST YOURSELF

Croatian PCC

If you have mobile banking, you can request it online at uvjerenja.pravosudje.hr:

1. Choose Podnošenje zahtjeva (submitting a request)
2. Vrsta postupka: Kazneni (type of procedure: criminal)
3. Enter your email address
4. Click Podnesi zahtjev (submit a request)

If you do not have mobile banking, you request it in person at the Municipal Court.

E-book

If you have mobile banking, you can request it online at gov.hr:

1. Choose Elektronički zapis o radno pravnom statusu (e-radna knjižica)

If you do not have mobile banking, you request it in person at the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (HZMO). Ask your Meta Mate agent for the address in your city.
